Come see me....

I wanted to let all of you know that I will be attending an open house tomorrow and Friday at the house of a super talented interior designer (she is known for decorating her home for the holidays and inviting houndreds of her clients to come by). I was found via Etsy and invited to this and am so thrilled to be participating. I am sure I will post pictures later in the week...It's in Western Springs, everyone around Chicago area should be familiar. Let me know if you can make it and I will pass along more details.

Secondly, I was accepted to participate on the yearly Holiday 2008 DEPART-ment event happening downtown Chicago! Go to the website and read more about this amazing opportunity happening a couple of times a year...a great way to meet new designers, sell and well...shop handmade goodies. I just found out I will be given a wee little space (2'x2' to be exact) to display my products...Here is where I need your opinions dear friends! Which products should I include?

HURRAY! You are going to have so much fun, at both events! I would definitely bring your calendars, prints in all different colors and your tags! You have so many yummy goodies, darling, it would be hard to choose a small collection!

Off to go read your interview with Sarah!

Yeah for you!
i think the calendars for sure, since i shows your range of designs, well, i agree with Julia!

it is hard for such a small space. glad you don't make huge odd shaped items like hula hoops or anything like that!

i wish i could go tomorrow or friday :( i am getting ready to go to san francisco this weekend into next week for work.
the second show, I can try and come on the first day (Friday). I will put on my calendar, I leave that saturday for los angeles for a week.

when I get back we should plan on a meeting with you, me and Julia!!! that would be fun.
you can email me here cyng1@mac.com

let me know how your showing is this weekend!

Again... I offer you congratulations my dear!!!

Have fun this weekend at the open house. I can't attend but I'll be thinking of you. I hope you have a good turn-out and I hope the weather cooperates.

2'x2 'is really tight! Yes, what a wee little space! I would bring STATIONERY!!! You could fill a cute *little* basket with a collection of your beautiful designs. Speaking from experience, I think stationery is the sort of thing that people might pick-up at these sort of art fairs. Bring some prints, too! And 2009 calendars! I would bring some holiday but not too much holiday. Maybe you could throw in a couple holiday tags with the purchase of a calendar... just to give your wee space a sales edge! :)

congrats!!!
bring your wall hangings and all of your stationary--you can have the stationary in boxes for people to go through and hang the wall stuff behind maybe from a little clothesline or something homey? or something like that...

Congrats, Vana! Definately bring the calendars, stationary, maybe some gift tags :)

Thanks for the link, I'll definately put it on my calendar as I'm certain I'll need some gifts.

And, happy birthday! I hope you have a splendid day :)
